Getting back in the groove

So it has been quite a while since I've had my last post... I could come up with all sorts of excuses on why it has been so long but then I wouldn't be being honest with myself so, here's the truth....

Truth is after I went live with my blog and had told people about it, the new wore off and I forgot about my little corner of the world wide web and lost interest in it! I was paying far too much attention to how many page views I had. I was worried that no one really cared enough to read my blog and the fact that I had no followers. I was in a funk and a BIG one. I came to the conclusion that if people weren't interested in reading what I had to say, then why do it...? I was thinking about others and not myself!

Well, now that I have had time away from my little blog and have done some serious thinking, I had come to another conclusion- Sally needs to get her groove back! (And by Sally, I mean me of course). I now realize that I was getting into the blog for all the wrong reasons! I need to focus on why I started this blog in the first place, for ME!

I am no longer going to open blogger and look at how many page views I have, how many new followers I have, if any, and I refuse to write posts on this blog for the pleasure of others! I may sound selfish, but I started this blog to document my adventures as a Pinch, for me to look back on later in life and hopefully share some stories with my future children. I am determined to get my butt back in gear and get back in the groove! So guess what?...........
